The "Soorya Mangalyaya" Sinhala and Tamil New Year Festival which was organized by the Media Circle of D. S. Senanayake College with the sponsorship of "Guru TV" (Dialog TV channel no 22) was broadcasted on the 14th of April in Guru TV.
This project of ours was filled with traditional activities and it's also a speciality to do all of this while obeying the Covid-19 guidelines. However, this is not an accomplishment we achieved alone. We had the support of the College Eastern Music Section, the College Dancing Section and also the support of Devi Balika Vidyalaya.
