Media Circle of D. S. Senanayake College

The school newspaper that is Siyapatha with a history of 21 years is being published every term making a total of 3 newspapers every year. Siyapatha can be known as the first newspaper that was published among the school based media sectors and every term we make sure to produce a quality tri-lingual newspaper full of creativity just for you. It's also a joy to mention that our idea of the Siyapatha newspaper inspired many schools to start their own newspaper. We can without a doubt say that our newspaper has helped enrich the skills of our Senanayakian brothers in terms of literature and art to produce a fine set of citizens that only add colour to the sri lankan media field. To improve the abilities of these individuals, we have 5 sectors namely Announcing, Organizing, Siyapatha News paper editing, Photography and Dubbing where our Senanayakian brothers work hard everyday to keep up with our tasks.

Our media circle has been helping out all sorts of events in schools throughout the island both school related or not to ensure success in that occasion. Siyapatha has always been a visible proof of the friendship that we build among schools island wide. The Siyapatha newspaper that the Media Circle of D. S. Senanayake College offer with pride will always be a pleasant experience.
